Project prepared by Endo Support United Ltd
Endo Support United Ltd. have teamed up with Hey Girls to bring an end to period poverty. 1 in 10 schoolgirls in the UK are affected by period poverty, this is expected to increase significantly due to the recent Covid 19 pandemic.
There has been progress regarding menstrual health in recent years, with Tampon tax being abolished and the government introducing free products in schools. Unfortunately more needs to be done to guarantee that every adolescent has access to sanitary products and education about conditions such as endometriosis, adenomyosis and pcos.
The purpose of Project Prepared is to ensure all adolescents have access to support and products that are a necessity regardless of whether their household can afford them, normal or abnormal cycles. Everyone should be entitled to feel comfortable during their period.
