About the Event
Gemma Pilkington is a specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist skilled in helping restore health and happiness back into people's lives. With almost 20 years experience in clinical practise, 16 in pelvic health, she has helped countless patients return to their optimum health and wellbeing.
Gemma is an empathetic, thoughtful, caring and dedicated health expert who believes that her bespoke and holistic approach to treatment is the key to helping her patients to fully understand their condition and reduce any associated pain.
Currently working in both Surrey and Kent she is focused on helping people recover their postpartum health , treating the often embarrassing symptoms of prolapse and incontinence and easing the devastating effects of pelvic and sexual dysfunction or pain.
Gemma holds a BSc hons in Physiotherapy and has worked in leading hospitals and physio practices throughout London. She has completed numerous post graduate courses and qualifications including acupuncture, abdominal visceral manipulation, advanced pelvic floor manual therapy, pelvic pain, ‘birthlight’ pregnancy yoga and the MACP course and placements to name a few.
She has assisted on the renowned Mummy MOT training course and is well respected by her peers. Gemma liaises and works closely with womens health and fitness coaches, specialist and allied healthcare professionals to provide the most effective and efficient recovery for the patient.
