Steff's March Round Up

Fact Friday Well – that’s it! We’ve made it to the end of another Endo Awareness Month This month has brought ups and downs; from blocking on social media to surgeries beginning again – what a month! So many people have worked their socks off (after all the walking some people really couldn’t put socks on! Jodie Hughes Mel Slama Krystle Marie Robyn Gentle) this March to raise awareness and funds. Apologies if I haven’t listed your event below, please feel free to celebrate and appreciate others by adding more into the comments. There have been many great achievements this month; so, for our #FactFriday this week, we’ve decided to stop for a moment to take a look back at a snapshot the awareness that’s been raised.

• Jayde’s husband ran a phenomenal ten 10km runs! • Imie walked for 10 miles • Georgia held a raffle • Jenny Harris shaved her head! • Aiden undertook a virtual walk with his Grandad on Sunday. • Jodie’s paper was published! • Jodie has worked INCREDIBLY hard during March as has participated in many conferences, Zooms, meetings plus much much more! On top of this, she is completing uni work to further study endometriosis. Here is the survey from one of her current projects: She could not be doing more to improve the world for endometriosis sufferers. ONE AMAZING HUMAN • We ran a very successful raffle! • The Spinnaker Tower was yellow • The trustees walked a staggering (literally!) 25 mile walk from Princess Anne in Southampton to Gunwharf via QA. Along the way they met with several MPs, The News (Portsmouth paper), met up with Dr Berry and Dr Khan (he then walked the rest of the walk with us!) from QA as well as sending video diaries to ITV and… • We were on the telly! Georgia Kate Day Imie Langton Jayde Weller • Over £2000 was raised for Endo South Coast • We gained even more members as well as more members of the family support group • ONE HELL OF A LOT OF AWARENESS WAS RAISED DURING THIS MONTH!

What an achievement. What a month!
